A sideline of Bill's is travel writing which grew out of the Dunnett newsletters. His most popular piece and a useful guide to his style and capabilities is his Modern Orkney Saga - a description of his trip to the Orkney Islands with a small group of Dunnett readers in 2001.

These Style buttons allow you to change the colour schemes and font sizes
of the pages in this site - just choose which one you prefer and it will
be used on all of them and will be remembered when you return. For illustration
these changes are quite colourful - style 3 might be considered garish
- but this can also be a useful technique if you have readers with visual
impairment who require larger text or higher contrast.
